Yoga Nidra is a meditation practice known as the yoga of sleep. Resting in svasana,  you are gently guided into a state of conscious awareness by both voice and singing bowls. The body experiences relaxation - even as the mind remains awake and aware.

JOURNEY WITHIN

This guided meditation will focus on a few techniques to quiet the mind and offer a greater sense of well being. Breath awareness, heart opening, loving kindness and gratitude will be some of the touchstones for this 45 minute class.

SILENCE & SOUND

Sound and silence is an opportunity to intentionally invite your essence back to the forefront as your guiding light. Rare are the opportunities we give ourselves to come to stillness and remain in silence. Chaos and noise both external and internal have become our accepted norms.

In this space you'll have the chance to merge back into your body and allow your inner, perfect teacher to point the way for you. Your stillness and silence accompanied by the resonant healing frequencies of the Himalayan Singing Bowls can combine to make this an extraordinarily passive yet powerful meditative instrument in navigating this oft confusing waking life.

Some time and a supplies are offered near the end of the hour for a practitioner to write a compassionate and encouraging note to their future self. These 'Notes2Self' are mailed out at an undermined later date ensuring you'll ever be reminding yourselves of the true perfect nature of your voice and existence.
